Celebrities With Motorcycles

Jan 08

When looking at each celebrity’s mode of transportation, the majority of us pay close attention to what kind of car they drive, or more realistically, the cars they drive. What most people do not often realize is that there is a growing population of public figures who love the feel of the wind on their face. Maybe that breeze for some big names can be from the comforts of a convertible, but for quite a few of them, that thrill is from the fast, dangerous thrill of a motorcycle. Actor Hugh Laurie from “House” states: “Driving a motorcycle is like flying. All your senses are alive. When I ride through Beverly Hills in the early morning, and all the sprinklers have turned off, the scents that wash over me are just heavenly.” Many others in the public eye also agree with Laurie’s statement, for they, too, are dropping big chunks of change for custom, name brand, or their own personal dream bikes. Some of the many celeb motorcyclists are:

Brad Pitt                         Orlando Bloom                    Pink                                Tom Cruise

This list of over 20 actors, actresses, sports stars, singers, guys and dolls are just like you or I. Being human, we all find a certain love in things that spark our interest. Outside of their jobs in the spotlights, celebrities do everyday things, like riding a motorcycle. Although we may not all ride down the streets of Beverly Hills on our way to work, those of us who know how to ride a two-wheeler can relate to that feeling you get when cruising down the streets, highways and freeways of our own hometowns.

Remember that even while riding a motorcycle to always take precautions and continue to have the mind of a defensive driver. The famous Evil Knievel says, “Riding a motorcycle on today’s highways, you have to ride in a very defensive manner. You have to be a good rider and you have both hands and both feet on the controls at all times.”  If you are like the many celebrities who enjoy the fast pace of motorcycles, remember to always be aware!
